N°10 - Mullaghmore
The Road to Classiebawn
Printed and dispatched within 3–5 working days.
ABOUT THIS PRINT
Taken one winter afternoon at Mullaghmore in Sligo, on the road that leads out toward Classiebawn Castle, the silhouette on the horizon. Storm Ciara was rolling in off the Atlantic. The wind was high and the rain was driving in off the coast, hard enough that most of the frames from that afternoon were unusable, water on the lens, every shot.
This was the only frame that survived. Sometimes that's how it goes. You stand in the weather, you work through a roll, and you come home with one photograph. It tends to be the right one.
Shot handheld on the Leica M6 with Ilford Delta 400, developed in my own darkroom.

A NOTE ON PRINT TONE
These are not strictly black and white prints. Each image is toned in post to a specific warmth, a slight shift away from neutral grey. It's subtle. They'll read as monochrome at a glance, but there's warmth in there. That's intentional.
Shot on 35mm film, the grain of the original negative is part of the image.

Mockup images are for illustrative purposes. We recommend measuring your wall before ordering.
FRAMING
Framing is not included. These are poster-format prints, designed to sit flush in a frame with no mount. Standard frames are widely available from IKEA, Desenio, and most independent framers. A simple black or natural wood frame works well.
For the best finish, I recommend professional framing with anti-reflective glass. It makes a significant difference to how the print reads on the wall.
